Hollywood star, Terry Crews and wife, Rebecca King Crews, in a recent interview talked about how the actor’s addiction to pornography almost destroyed their marriage.

The couple who have been married for 30-years and still counting, narrated how they have been going through the ‘ups and downs of marriage’ as one.

Terry revealed he has been addicted to pornography before marriage and even continued after marriage and the birth of their children.

The 52-year-old actor claimed the act almost cost him his marriage to his wife, Rebecca.

He revealed that at some point, the wife told him not to come home if he will not desist from the addiction.

The couple who are set to release their audio book titled, ‘Stronger Together’ said they had to go for counseling at some point and also had to come to terms with how to handle such news with their kids.

In an interview with colleague Drew, a question was thrown to the couple, about where the kids “fall into now that the cat is out of the bag”

Terry said, “Yes, part of what the counselor told us is to talk to our kids, so we talked to our kids at their level. They knew it’s not about them, it’s something mommy and daddy are working on.”

Rebecca also talked about sex addiction and the reason people need to know.

The former NFL player and America’s got Talent host said the memoir for the book will be released on Thursday.

During a question and answer interview, the couple were asked on how they’ve survived in a marriage for so long, despite the obvious challenges.

Terry gave the microphone to his wife before he later spoke on the topic.

He said, “One perspective is not enough on something like this, two perspectives, especially a husband and wife, gives a 3-D view and really opens things up really, really wide.”

According to the duo, fame made things worse when it comes to Terry’s addiction. He had the sources, he had the associates as well.

“Success is the warmest place to hide. I had so many people telling me I was great and it was no problem. And you know what? Hollywood didn’t care. It still doesn’t care if you lose your family; it happens everyday.”

“So fame just made it worse. And it’s really true that power and success amplifies what’s already going on inside you, and that is why I couldn’t help him. And I’m thankful and I am lucky that he made the choice to do that,” Rebecca said.

Terry said the reason he agreed on co-writing this book was because he believes there are other men out there in the same shoes when it comes to porn addiction.

“The reason why we wrote this book was the fact that I know I can’t be alone. I can’t be the only guy who went through this,” he said.
