Award winning artiste, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has revealed reasons behind his album ‘Timeless’.
He stated that he didn’t make the album for the sole purpose to win a Grammy award.
Davido said this in an interview with Brut. He said he would love to win a Grammy especially with his collaboration with five-time Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo.
He said he had made the song in a live record session because one of the features, The Caveman, records his songs live.
He said, “I was happy that I was out of my space and able to deliver that song. Because I’m a digital artist; I record music digitally.
“But for that song, we had to record it live because The Cavemen records live…
“If I win a Grammy, I will be happy, but I didn’t make this album because I wanted to win anything.
“I made this album going into it, you know, happy, natural, you know what I’m saying!”
The 17 track album was released on March 31, 2023. He had granted several interviews since then.
