The Lagos State Government has confirmed another coronavirus-related death.
Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, in an update on Twitter, revealed that the casualty is a 45-year-old Nigerian who returned from India.
“No new case of #COVID-19 was confirmed in Lagos on 20th April, 2020. However, #COVID19 related deaths were recorded in Lagos,” he wrote on Tuesday.
“One of the deceased was a 45 years old Nigerian male who returned from India in January, 2020.”
Lagos recorded no positive case on Monday for the first time in a long while after 70 infections 24 hours earlier.
