British actor, Daniel Craig, who starred as James Bond in one of the series, has revealed why he wouldn’t be leaving his inheritance for his children.

In his words while speaking with UK’s Candid, he described leaving inheritance as distasteful.

Using an American Industrialist, Andrew Carnegie, as an example, he revealed he will be following in his steps, which means he will be giving his riches out to those who need it.

Rather than leave it for his children.

He said, “My philosophy is get rid of it or give it away before you go. There’s an adage that if you die a rich person, you’ve failed.

“I think Andrew Carnegie gave away about $11 billion, which shows how rich he was but I’ll bet he kept some of it too.

“As for me, I don’t want to leave great sums to the next generation. I think inheritance is quite distasteful.”

Craig has three children, daughter, Ella, who he had with his ex-wife Fiona Loudon, as well as a daughter with wife Rachel Weisz.

He also has a teenage stepson, Henry, through Rachel Weisz’s previous relationship.
