Nigeria’s senior national team, Super Eagles will play fellow African country Algeria in an international friendly to take place in Oran, Algeria.

The match is expected to be the only match the Super Eagles will play during this international break.

A total of 25 players have been called up for the match with 18 players reported to have already arrived in camp.

Wilfred Ndidi, Iwobi among others were pictured to be the players in camp already.

The match is set to take place on the 27th of this month in what will be new head coach Jose Peseiro’s fifth game in charge of the Eagles.

Both Nigeria and Algeria failed to qualify for the world cup in Qatar this year, and both will be engaging this match as a preparation ahead of Afcon qualifiers to resume next year.

This would be the eighteenth match between the two countries and the last was also in a friendly, the north African country won in 2020.
