James Bond star, Frank McRae, dies from heart attack

American actor and professional football player, Frank McRae, has died from a heart attack in Santa Monica, California, United States.

The James Bond star was born on March 18 in Memphis, Tennessee in the U.S.

McRae played the role of Sharkey in the Bond classic and also starred in movies like ‘Loaded weapon 1′ in 1993, ’48hrs’ in 1982, ‘Last Action hero’ in 1993.

His fans and colleagues have begun to pour their heart out on social media following the news of McRae’s death.

His daughter had disclosed the news.

Official James Bond Twitter reads: “We are sorry to hear that Frank McRae, who played Sharkey in Licence To Kill, has passed away.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

The 80-year-old actor is survived by his children and grandchildren Camden, Jensen and Holden.
