American model and TV personality, Chrissy Teigen, and her husband, John Legend, are expecting their rainbow baby.
The couple had lost a baby, Jack, in 2020 after she was diagnosed with partial placenta eruption and had required a lot of blood transfusion to save her life but the baby had not made it.
On Wednesday, Teigen took to her Instagram to share the news of hers. She posted a baby bump and shared how she had waited to share the news especially after the loss of their son.
She also shared her journey, the bruises she had from the In Vitro Fertilisation injections.
She said, “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.
“One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as you can see!) we have another on the way.
“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.
“Ok phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
