The lawmaker representing Lere Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Suleiman Aliyu, is dead.
Aliyu was said to have breathed his last today at the Barau Dikko Specialists Hospital in the metropolis at the age of 53.
Aliyu’s death came barely 72 hours after his counterpart representing Jos/North Bassa, Haruna Maitala, died.
Maitala died at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi, Nasarawa State, following an auto crash involving his car along the Abuja-Jos Road.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of Aliyu’s death had yet to be known, but the lawmaker was said to have died after a brief illness.
