Renowned dancer and choreographer Kaffy Shafau-Ameh has announced the death of yet another dancer identified as Esther.

This comes barely two days after the Nigerian dance Industry lost a dance member, Romeo.

The 40-year-old took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to mourn Esther’s death.

“This is sad! This is sad! She died yesterday! Yet another case of prolonged medical condition!”

Esther died as a result of a prolonged medical condition on Monday.

This came just some hours after the dancer announced a partnership with Arrive Alive Diagnostic Centre that would enable dancers to get free medical check-up and treatment.

Kaffy lamented that, in two months, the Nigerian dance industry has lost five dancers and expressed her displeasure over the series of deaths.

She further explained that the rise in the death of Nigerian dancers is the reason why she is having a series of webinars to sensitize dancers to be aware of the state of their health.

Kaffy encouraged dancers to sign up for the novel initiative to prevent the rise in the death of dancers due to medical condition
