Benue State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Ekpe Ogbu, and three others who were kidnapped last Sunday, have been released.
The Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Samuel Ortom, Colonel Paul Hemba (retd), made this known to newsmen on Tuesday.
It is yet to be ascertained if any money was paid as ransom to secure the commissioner’s release.
Recall that the commissioner was abducted alongside Honourable Agbo Ode, one of his in-laws, and his driver by gunmen on Sunday along David Mark Farm in Akpa Otobi.
