Lagos discharges 31 COVID-19 patients after full recovery

Lagos State Government on Sunday said it has discharge 31 persons who tested positive for coronavirus after recovering from the disease.

“Good people of Lagos, today, 31 fully recovered COVID-19 Lagos patients; 25 males and six females were discharged from the Onikan, Gbagada, Agidingbi, Lekki and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation facilities to reunite with the society,” Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said in a statement.

Sanwo-Olu disclosed that six of the patients are from Onikan, four from Gbagada, two from Agidingbi, six from Lekki and 13 from LUTH Isolation Centres have fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19.

This latest discharge brings the total number of cases successfully managed to full recovery in Lagos State to 1,025.

Currently, the total number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria is 12,486. Lagos State, the hardest-hit by the disease has 5,767.
