A man who walked several kilometres from Gombe to Abuja to celebrate Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the 2015 presidential polls has come down with serious limb pains.

A native of Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe State, Dahiru Buba, had walked for 15 days in excitement.

He said his effort only earned him a certificate when the present caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, was the party’s national secretary.

Buba called on Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, and the party’s stakeholders to come to his aid.

“Since the time I conducted the trekking, the limb pain is growing by the day.

“I am appealing to my governor, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, and the party leadership to help me look for medical assistance,” he said.

Buba said he could no longer work to pay his children’s school fees.
