Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Ijeoma Otabor, aka Phyna, has revealed how her relationship with Groovy had been a game.
In a recent interview on YouTube by Prime Morning, Phyna said she had genuinely liked Groovy at the beginning but she had played a game till the end.
According to her, she had found out from people that the man has feelings for someone else in the house.
She also revealed how she had overheard Groovy and another housemate discussing and the latter advising him to stick with Phyna because she has more potential with winning.
Phyna said she had decided to play games with him till they leave the house.
She said, “Initially, originally getting into the relationship it was genuine for me, till I found out that it wasn’t genuine for him.
“So when I heard that he wanted some other girl, though I liked him, no cap, when I found out how it was going, I just happened to be smart. Like common I am an Edo girl, I no fit carry last.
“I knew it was a game and I am someone that if I need something I can bend so low, so I’m continuing playing my game.
“I realized this when I found out that he had another girl he liked and I overheard someone telling him that he should stick with me since I am a top contender in the house, and when he leaves he can pursue the girl he likes.”
In reaction to this, Groovy took to his Twitter page to comment on the latest revelation. He said the discovery had been the other way round because she had begged for friendship.
He said the reality TV star is unstable with her words in the interviews and online rants. He allegedly also unfollowed her.
Phyna in response tweeted, @groovymono at last you unfollowed anyways I already forgave and moved on.
“But never you say anybody begged your friendship both of us know who begged for friendship
“Guess you’re tired of pretending and lying to yourself.”
Their relationship in the house had raised eyebrows as many frowned at the way Phyna had quickly claimed Groovy immediately Beauty was disqualified from the house.
