‘My time is up’, Trevor Noah exits ‘The Daily Show’ after seven years

Popular comedian and TV Host, Trevor Noah, has announced his exit from TV show, ‘The Daily Show’ after hosting for seven years.

The comedian made the announcement at the end of his broadcast on Thursday, saying his time is up.

He had been on the show since 2015 after Jon Stewart.

He said, “My time is up.

“I’ve loved hosting this show, it’s been one of my greatest challenges and one of my greatest joys.” He also expressed his gratitude to his fans and the broadcasting family.

He has won prominent awards including the Primetime Emmy award, NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information (Series or Special) – Individual or Ensemble, also NAACP Image Award for literary works, writing etc.
