Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani has revealed the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has placed a ban on his single ‘Thunder Fire You’.
The ban simply means the song, ‘Thunder Fire You’ will not be played on any radio station except they intend to be fined.
The singer took to his Twitter page onFriday, February 26, 2021 to express his infuriation at the ban placed on his song ‘Thunder Fire You’ by NBC.
The song explains the anger of a man who has been jilted and lied to by his former lover. The entire lyrics was a downpour of anger with the use of coarse language.
Hassani tweeted: “So, the NBC has banned my song ‘Thunder Fire You’ and are fining radio stations that play it. Interesting.”
