Nigerian Politician and business mogul, Prince Ned Nwoko has revealed he’s been threatened over properties.

The former member of the House of Representatives on Thursday, February 11, 2021 had raised the alarm at a press briefing he organised alongside his wife Regina Daniels in Abuja.

According to him, the threat is connected to a piece of land he owns in Delta, a land he is currently building a University on. He also added that an ongoing drag of who is going to be king is another problem in the community.

However, Ned claimed that both issues has since been settled by elders of the land and the land in question has been forwarded to him.

The politician revealed he received a threat, he stated that some people are trying to kill him.

According to him, the news got leaked on social media by an inmate in Kuje Prison, Abuja who overheard two fellow prisoners making plans to kill him.

He claimed the matter has been reported to the Nigerian Police.

Ned Nwoko claimed that the inmate, who got released from the prison had also received series of threat messages before he died mysteriously after three weeks.

He said the inmate was able to get the information on social media and the attention of his wife, Regina was drawn to it.

“I then reported the matter to the police and Department of State Security (DSS) and they went and interviewed the inmates involved. The inmates mentioned the name of one businessman who deals in the oil and gas sector as the master minder,” he said.

He also revealed that the fear of the unknown has scared the family of the deceased from showing up at the press conference and that security has been tightened on his family.
