Nigerians have dragged popular disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, after her wish from American rapper, Nicki Minaj, was declined.
The disc jockey days ago had begged the fans of the rapper to assist her in getting a birthday wish from her.
According to her, if her father could get a birthday wish from fashion stylist, Tom Ford, she should be able to get one from her icon and the person behind her inspiration as an artiste.
DJ Cuppy who had her 30th birthday hours ago did not get her birthday wish.
However, she shared some of her gifts with her fans. The disc jockey said she received a rolex from a man and a country home from her father.
In reaction to the failed birthday wish, netizens slammed DJ Cuppy for wishing for too much.
Some said Tom Ford sent a birthday wish to her father because he invested in his brand by purchasing them. They inquired if DJ Cuppy had invested enough in Nicki Minaj.
One person said this, “Your papa dey put him money for their brand, how many Nicky brands u dey buy.”
Another person said Nicki Minaj is still sleeping because of the time zone. It read, “It’s still early in United states, Nicki Minaj never wake up.”
Another one wrote, “Na her money go make Nick wish you happy birthday.”
