Nigeria records 170 new Coronavirus cases, total now 2,558

According to data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria has recorded 170 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 2,558.

The health agency made this known via its Twitter handle on Sunday.

It also said fatalities from coronavirus-related complications have increased to 87.

In a post it sent out on Sunday night, NCDC announced that:

39-Lagos, 29-Kano, 24-Ogun, 18-Bauchi, 15-Kaduna, 12-FCT, 12-Sokoto, 8-Katsina, 7-Borno, 3 Nasarawa, 2 Adamawa and 1 in Oyo States.

Among the 2558 confirmed cases, 400 have been discharged, while the country has recorded 87 deaths.
