Nigeria, on Thursday, recorded 45 fresh cases of coronavirus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which announced this via Twitter last night, also confirmed the country’s tally as 166,191.
According to the agency, the fresh cases was recorded in five states.
Lagos led the way with 27 cases, followed by Rivers (14), Kaduna (2), Jigawa (1), and Ekiti (1).
The NCDC also revealed that six patients were discharged, taking the total recoveries to 156,535.
However, no new death was recorded, keeping the country’s fatality at 2,071.
Lagos remains the epicentre with 58,963.
The Federal Capital Territory is next with 19,860 followed by Kaduna (9,074), Plateau (9,061), and Rivers (7,253).
