Amidst the chaotic atmosphere going on with the celebration of the country at 61, some celebrities have refused to let go with their optimism.
Nigerian celebrities like fashion guru, Aderonke Enoabasi, the founder of Rhonkefella and BBNaija reality star, Abisola Aiyeola, have both taken to their Instagram pages respectively to celebrate the country.
Rhonkefella, who is best known as a creative stylist when it comes to showcasing the beauty of the country, posted a picture of herself dressed in a white and green iro, buba and gele.
She also made a video showcasing the beautiful attires worn by the Yorubas, Igbos, Calabars, Edos and the Hausas.
In her caption, she said, “Today as a proudly Nigerian brand, we celebrate hope. We celebrate the beauty in our diversity. There is always something to be thankful for.
“Happy 61st Independence to our dear Country Nigeria. We are a proudly Naija brand.”
Bisola took to her IG to sing a beautiful and soothing cover of the National anthem. She sang beautifully with a band.
In her caption, she recited the National anthem. She also wrote about how positive mindset towards the country will be much better than the negative things we say to the country.
She said. “Happy birthday Nigeria. This is my home and I pledge to speak positively about her at all times for what we speak is what she becomes…”
Another celebrity who has shown patriotism to the country is Nollywood actor, Stan Eze, who recently tied the knot with his wife.
Stan Eze posted a photo of himself dressed in green.
He said, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
“See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
