Ogunjobi
Former Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi
is dead.
Ogunjobi, who before his demise was the Chairman of Osun Football Association, was
confirmed dead by his long time friend and associate Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, the President-
General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club
Ladipo told Blueprint Sport on phone , that Ogunjobi passed on in the early hours of
Monday at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
He said the former NFF Secretary General was admitted at the hospital three days ago.
He failed to disclose the nature of the ailment that took Ogunjobi to the hospital.
Ogunjobi starred for the then IICC of Ibadan as captain and also guided 3SC of Ibadan
to the FA Cup and the league title same year as the Sole Administrator of the club
under the military rule.
Ogunjobi also managed Gabros International FC And Julius Berger in the Nigerian
topflight league.
He served as Executive Committee member and General Secretary of the NFF at
different periods of his career in sports administration.
