Peter of the defunct group, ‘P Square’, has disclosed that artists Omah Lay and Tems will soon be released and be on their way home to Nigeria very soon.
According to a news report, the singer was arrested for violating the COVID-19 protocols while performing on Saturday night at a concert held at Speke resort.
Recall that the singer, Omah Lay confirmed he was arrested by the Police in Uganda on Saturday.
The Ugandan Police announced that Nigerian musicians, Omah Lay and Tems will remain in their custody till Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
The Police made this known on Monday, December 14, 2020 via its official twitter account.
The Ugandan Police said these artists are on charge of negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act of the Country.
However, Mr P Okoye took to his twitter account on Tuesday Morning, December 15, 2020 to reveal the release of Omah Lay and Tems which will happen soon.
According to him, he assures that there has been a huge progress to their release and they would soon come to Nigeria.
“Good morning guys! Just to inform you all that there’s a huge progress now and @Omah_Lay and Tems will be on their way back home soon!
“Pls let’s all be calm! Thanks,” he wrote.
