Victor Osimhen scored a brace in a 4-0 thrashing of Sampdoria at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Thursday.
The goals were completed by Fabian Ruiz and Zielinski for Napoli.
Osimhen’s goals helped Napoli returned to the top of the Italian Serie A table as he is still fresh from netting his first Serie A goal of the season in the 4-0 spanking of Udinese.
The Super Eagles striker’s brace is his second and third league goals of the campaign.
It is also his second brace in seven days and fifth goal in the same period across all competitions.
However, Napoli remains the only team with a perfect win record in the Italian top-flight, having secured 15 points from 5 league games.
Aside from Thursday’s convincing win, the Neapolitans have forced defeats down the throats of Venezia, Genoa, Juventus, and Udinese.
Napoli will host Cagliari in their next league game.
