Nigeria’s coronavirus cases now 26 with new confirmation in Oyo, three in Lagos

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced that three new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been recorded in Lagos.

The centre confirmed this on Sunday morning via Twitter.

It wrote: “Three new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in #Nigeria. As at 06:45am on the 22nd of March, there are 25 confirmed cases of #COVID19 recorded in Nigeria.

“Of the 25 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged, with no death.

“All 3 cases were reported in Lagos State, & have travel history to high-risk countries in the last 7 days.

“We’re working closely with @LSMOH to identify & follow up with contacts.”
