The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command said it foiled attempts by suspected kidnappers to abduct some persons in Abuja.
Four of the suspects were nabbed at the weekend in Bwari and Kwali councils.
It was disclosed that four hostages were freed in different operations executed by the police divisions in the districts.
Responding to distress calls, anti-kidnapping teams swung into action and stormed the criminals’ hideouts.
“One victim was rescued and a suspect arrested in Bwari, three victims were rescued and three suspects arrested in Kwali.
“The victims are two women and two men”, the report claims.
