American pop singer and songwriter, Britney Spears and her lover, Sam Asghari, have finally tied the knot after several years of dating.
The intimate wedding was held in Los Angeles with so many notable celebrities in attendance.
Britney wore a white Versace gown and her husband in black suit. Their wedding is coming just months after her 13-year conservatorship was lifted, the conservatorship which had prevented her from having more children or getting married.
The ceremony however took a dramatic turn as Britney’s ex-husband, Jason Alexander, had tried to gate-crash the event. He went ballistic filming the event on his Instagram Live, stating that he was there to “crash the wedding’.
He was swiftly arrested by the Ventura County Police. He has been charged with vandalism and battery due to his altercation with the security, and also for trespassing, according to TMZ.
Jason and Britney had gotten married on sudden impulse in January 2004 and had annulled the marriage 55 hours later.
Celebrities in attendance include, Donatella Versace, Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Maria Menounos, Paris Hilton, her husband Carter Reum and mother Kathy Hilton.
Britney’s brother, Bryan, was in attendance but her mother, father and two sons were not present on her big day.
