American rapper, Kanye Omari West, also known as Kanye West now Ye, has apologised to the Jewish community over his anti-Semitic comments a year ago.

The singer a year ago had declared war on the Jewish community after he showed up in his White Lives Matter shirts during the controversial Paris Fashion Week show.

He had lost his contracts with Balenciaga and Adidas shortly after. He was banned from his Instagram and Twitter account turned X.

In a new post on his Instagram page on December 26, 2023, Kanye sincerely apologised to the Jewish community.

His message written in Hebrew read, “I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions.

“It wasn’t my intention to hurt or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I’m committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.

“Your forgiveness is important to me, and I’m committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
