American singer and billionaire, Rihanna Fenty and her lover, Rakim Mayers also known as ASAP Rocky, have sparked marriage rumours in a new music video.
The three minute music video, D.M.B showed the rapper praising his babymama who was the lead character in the video.
ASAP Rocky was seen in the video proposing to Rihanna, had his teeth grillz with ‘marry me’ spelt on it.
The expectant mother was also seen in a red wedding dress, with a matching veil and a bouquet of red roses to go with the outfit. She had gold teeth grillz with ‘I do’ spelt on it.
At the end of the video, the couple were seen with people throwing petals at them, just as newlyweds are ushered out after exchanging their vows.
According to E! Online, the lyrics of the song are a declaration of love to Rihanna.
“My angel and my goddess, when my head get clouded/My head get cloudy, my thoughts get cloudy/You’re my soulmate, my Goddess (My soulmate)/And baby (I fell in love with you).”
The rumour of a possible video broke months ago when the couple were seen together publicly in what seemed like a music video set. They were pictured seated at an apartment stairs the same as the video.
The video was shot before Rihanna revealed her pregnancy.
In the video, ASAP Rocky also threw subtle shade at Chris Brown. In one of the lyrics, ASAP said he doesn’t beat women because he loves his woman. “I don’t beat my bitch, I need my bitch.”
This was considered a shade as Chris Brown was arrested and charged in 2009 over domestic violence involving Rihanna.
