Celebrities have taken their time to pay tributes to actress and politician, Funke Akindele’s mother who recently passed on.
The announcement stating her passing was released by a family member, Olubunmi Akindele, who disclosed that the aged mother died on Tuesday, February 7.
The statement went further to say that the funeral arrangements will be released soon.
In reaction to this, some celebrities have mourned the late mother.
Actress Ronke Oshodi on her Instagram said she met the woman once in her life and was greatly taken aback by the warm gesture she received from her.
She wrote, “I met you just once, and you prayed for me like your own child.
To my surprise I heard this sad news today. Continue to rest in peace ma @funkejenifaakindele sorry for your loss, God know the best.”
Actress Esther Kale equally paid her tribute. She wrote, “Mummy why sweet mummy. May her soul rest in perfect peace. @funkejenifaakindele so sorry for the lost. Stay strong sister mi.”
Actress Bose Alao in her comment section wrotex “Ah, Accept my condolence aunty mi. Ah.”
