Russian supermodel, Irina Shayk, has finally reacted to the dating rumours with rapper and entrepreneur, Kanye West.
Recall that weeks ago, Kanye West was pictured with the model on his birthday while he was far away from home.
However, according to a source, Irina claimed she is just friends with Kanye and they have been friends for years.
The source said Irina Shayk refused the offer to follow Kanye to a costume show in Paris because of the rumour.
The source said, “She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him,” explaining that the stunner said no to the trip in order to avoid the headlines.
“She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up.
“It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating.”
The last time they were seen together was disembarking from a jet in the US after returning from the France trip.
The source continued, “She went to his birthday party as a friend. There were 50 other people there.”
“She doesn’t want to be linked with anyone right now,” says the source. “She is happy being single.”
The single mother of a 4-year-old daughter, who she had with Bradley Cooper, was rumoured to have been dating Kanye West after they were pictured together.
She appeared in his 2010 music video for the song “Power” and also made another appearance on the runway for Yeezy.
