Afrobeat singer, Chinedu Okolie, also known as Flavour, enlisted his colleague, Phyno, and BBN’s Whitemoney to perform at his ‘Homecoming Concert’, in Umunze, Anambra State.
The event, which was held in the early days of the year, had performances from entertainers like Phyno, Whitemoney, Funnybone, DJ MClord, Ada Ugoccie and NYD Crew.
Controversial clergyman, Prophet Odumeje, was also in attendance.
When asked about the concert, Flavour said, “It was the perfect way to celebrate with my fans what a truly amazing year we had, and bring in a brand new energy for the New Year.”
The concert, which was held under the auspices of Life Continental Beer’s ‘TuruUgoLota’ initiative, is a tradition among easterners who travel from all over the country to their hometowns to celebrate the end of the year and usher in the new year.
