Legendary afro juju musician, Sir Shina Peters, has been ordained bishop of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
He was ordained at a ceremony in the Iju area of Lagos.
The 62-year-old musician made this known via his Instagram account as he posted a video of him collecting his certificate of consecration.
In the caption section of the video, SSP wrote, “Bishop with the swagger. God above all.”
On another post on his Facebook account, the singer wrote, “To God be the glory. I will serve my god till the end.”
Sir, Shina Peters and his International Stars released their first album Ace (Afro-Juju Series 1) in 1989. He currently has 16 albums released to his credit.
His spiritual life is not known to many until now that he confirmed his ordination as a Bishop.
