Popular Hausa skit maker, Kamal Iliyasu, also known as Kamal Aboki, has passed on from an auto accident.
The tiktoker was reported to have been traveling from Borno to Kano when the accident happened.
His elder brother, Usman, broke the news to media outlets.
According to him, his mother had felt uneasy and had instructed him to call his brother who was on the way.
He said someone had called the family to inform them of the tragic accident.
Usman said, “On Monday, my mother asked me to call Kamal around 5 pm, and he said he was already inside a vehicle to Kano.
“Then, my mother started feeling somehow. Later, someone called me to ask if I had someone travelling from Maiduguri to Kano, and I told the person yes.
“It was at that point the caller broke the news of what happened to me.”
