Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo state, has remanded skit maker, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa aka Trinityguy, in prison for allegedly sexualising a minor in one of his videos.
Recall that an arrest was made days ago after the Nigeria Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, called for the skit maker’s arrest following a viral video of his skit where he was seen questioning a minor.
In the video, the prankster was asking the minor of the colour of her private part.
On Friday, the parents of the girl and the prankster were called for questioning and they are to appear in court on Monday, June 26, 2023.
The defendant’s attorney, Oludare Adebayo, pleaded for a bail which was denied.
The Magistrate, P.O Adetuyibi, stated that the case has received the attention of the state Ministry of Justice.
Magistrate Adetuyibi adjourned the next sitting to July 11. The parents of the girl are to be remanded alongside the skit maker.
