Super Sand Eagles tackles Senegal in epic final

African two top teams in Beach Soccer, Nigeria and Senegal  will  face-off in the final of the 2018 Beach Soccer Africa Cup Of Nations on Friday in Egypt.

The Seengalese are the defending champions and it the second time the Super Sand Eagles and Senegal are meeting in this year’s competition with the Senegalese running away with victory in the first meeting .

Senegal defeated the Sand Eagles 2-0 on penalties after regulation time scores were levelled at 4-4 in an opening Group B game last Thursday.

The game will also be the second straight final which both teams are contesting.

Nigeria became the first country to book their place at the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay after beating Egypt 7-6 and qualifying for the final of the 2018 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Defending champions, Senegal smashed Morocco 5-0 to set up a feisty encounter in the final.

The final of the region’s qualifying tournament will be played on Friday 14 December.
