The family of late Nollywood actor, John Adewumi, also known as Tafa Oloyede, has released the funeral arrangements.
The actor, who had died on February 1, 2022 in Osun State, at his residence after a brief illness, will be buried on February 11, 2022.
The Governor of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Osun Chapter, Alhaji Moruf Lawal, disclosed this on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Osogbo.
Lawal stated that the burial arrangements were discussed and decided by the family.
He also said that a day will be assigned ‘Artist Day’ in the honor of the actor. This will be held in his hometown, Ede, on February 10, 2pm to 6pm.
A Christian wake programme would be organised on February 10, before he would be laid to rest on February 11.
The General Secretary of the Association, Ayo Oladapo, said Christ Apostolic Church, Ori-oke Baba Abiye, Ede, would handle the Christian wake and funeral service.
