Celebrity couple, Tchidi Chikere and wife, Nuella Njubigbo, seem to have called their marriage off after 6 years of marital bliss.
The speculation started when Tchidi’s ex-wife, Sophia Williams, stylishly teased the couple’s breakup on her Instagram page weeks ago.
She said, “wetin dey happen to one love made in heaven?” referring to what the couple had titled their union when they wedded in 2014.
The controversy was that Nnuella snatched Sophia’s husband and caused her divorce.
However, it seems there is fire on the mountain for the duo, Tchidi and Nuella, as they both have unfollowed themselves on Instagram and Nuella has changed her bio as well from ‘mother and wife’ to ‘award winning filmmaker, mum, CEO’. She also removed the surname ‘Chikere’ from her bio.
Recall that the actor and wife had tried to debunk the rumours when Sophia made the post, by making a video to show the duo on the bed checking their phones.
Some have suggested they were going too far to prove a point especially since Tchidi was reported to have left his office to make such a video.
Tchidi also took to his social media to say, ‘Pain will leave you once it’s done teaching you. His Grace has brought me far…He is still with me.”
The couple had their traditional marriage on Friday, March 28, 2014, days after the news of their scandal broke to the media.
The news was that Tchidi sent Sophia packing because Nuella was dating the movie director while still married.
