Grammy winner, Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid has broken his silence over his mother’s death.
The singer, who had lost his mother in August 2023, has been mum and away from his social media since the loss.
Wizkid was recently seen in pictures at the candlelight ceremony held for the deceased. He was looking frail and disconnected.
In a new post, the singer during the funeral rites said he has been hurt greatly over the death of his mother. He said the pain caused by the demise is profound.
He said, “The pain is profound. It hurts deeply. The deepest pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m lost but I pray God will comfort every one of us.
“I’m lost without you Mom, I love you so much, I love you.”
