Media personality, Jeannie Mae Jenkins, and her husband, Jeezy, have welcomed their first child together months after their marriage.
Jeannie had announced her pregnancy during a show in September 2021, showing a bump.
She took to her Instagram page to post an up-close picture of a baby carefully wrapped in a baby cot with the name “Baby Jenkins”.
Her caption read, “I asked God for a life of love and happiness. He sent me my family. Baby Jenkins is here ?❤️.”
Jeannie had earlier talked about how she had started getting shots the day of her wedding because her husband had wanted children, a decision she had earlier denied herself before she met her husband, according to her.
She made this known in October in her Youtube channel.
Jeannie said they got pregnant without the help of the vitro shots.
She said, “The very day of our wedding, March 27, we started our in vitro shots.
“Went for about two weeks, doing the shots with Jeezy and preparing for it,” she continued, adding that after going to a routine check-up, the couple was told they’d conceived naturally.
“Of course, if a doctor is calling you after any doctor’s appointment, you start flipping out. I call the doctor, and the doctor is like, ‘Stop taking your shots. You’re pregnant. You guys got pregnant on your own.’ We got pregnant a week after the wedding.”
The pair got married on March 27, 2021 in a private wedding with their family and few friends. The event had properly adhered to the Covid-19 protocols.
The name and gender of the new baby is yet to be revealed.
