Three persons have been confirmed dead in an accident involving a Toyota Hilux conveying vigilantes accompanying Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for a campaign in Mubi town.
The accident, which occurred at Fadamareke community in Hong local government while the affected vehicle was negotiating a dangerous bend left one other in critical condition and currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
The three bodies, including that of Bako Kaura, head of PDP’s informal security arm and another victim identified as Adamu, Kaura’s biological son have been deposited at the mortuary of Hong Federal Medical Centre, according to report.
Five other occupants in the van who also sustained injuries were conveyed in the Government House ambulance and another unmarked Hilux van, for treatment in the health facility.
