Tokyo 2020: 13-year-old NISHIYA Momiji wins gold in women’s street skateboarding

The street Skateboarding event has just been introduced into the Olympics Summer Games and 13-year-old Nishiya Momiji has won its very first gold medal.

Fans of the Olympic Summer Games were excited as the sport brings youthfulness to the competitions.

She made history with a score of 15.26.

Her final three runs marked at 4.15, 4.66, and 3.43.

Nishiya beat Rayssa Leal – Brazil’s youngest medalist and Olympian – to win the gold in what is believed to be the youngest Olympic podium.

Meanwhile, Nakayama Funa, 16, came in 3rd to win the Bronze medal with a score of 14.49.
