The Ministry of Tourism has debunked reports that it’s Minister, Lola Ade-John, was poisoned and rushed to the hospital.
The Assistant Director Press in the Ministry, Emem Mariam Ofiong, who debunked the claim when speaking with newsmen, said the Minister had malaria, was treated and had been stabilized.
In her words, “It is not true that the Minister was poisoned, she only had malaria and had been treated and is now stable.”
Although it was established that the Minister was not found in her office, reason why the rumours surrounding her health raised concerns.
