TV anchor, Larry King, down with COVID-19

Former longtime CNN talk-show host, Larry King, has been in a Los Angeles hospital for the past week after contracting the coronavirus.

In a report by CNN on Saturday, the information was from a family member of King who was not identified.

King, 87, was said to be currently admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The popular TV Host has had numerous health issues in recent years, including heart trouble, diabetes and lung cancer, according to a report by the Associated Press.

King had also confirmed in 2020 that two of his five children had died within weeks of each other.

While his son, Andy King, died of a heart attack at age 65 in August, Kings daughter, Chaia King, died from lung cancer at age 51, King said in a statement.

Larry King hosted “Larry King Live,” a hugely popular primetime talk show that ran from 1985 to 2010.
