Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun have arrested two cemetery security guards for allegedly exhuming dead bodies buried in the cemetery at Surulere Street of Ondo town, Ondo State.

KaftanPost correspondent gathered that one of the guards identified as Alhaji was caught with a bag containing heads of dead bodies by the residents of the area.

Investigation within the Ondo community clearly reveals that the cemetery where the crime case happened belongs to a foremost Anglican Church in the area.

In a chat with Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Chef Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the arrest of the suspects.

According to the suspects, the duo were rescued when the residents were planning to lynch them.

In a bid to further clarify the entire saga, Commander Adeleye said human heads were not found on the suspects.

He said, “The suspects were rescued by our men when the residents were about to kill them. We have handed them over to the police.”

KaftanPost correspondent however made a few attempts at validating the story but none of the concerned stakeholders responded to phone calls at the time of filing this report.
