Nollywood actor, Rich Oganiru, has died following a battle with an undisclosed illness.
He was reported to have died on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 after being ill for months.
Recall that a video circulated the media two weeks ago revealing a sick and bedridden Oganiru begging for funds for his illness.
The video was shared by a colleague with the caption, “Please, everyone should reach out before he dies.”
The veteran actor has been in the movie industry for two decades with movies like “Battle of the rich”, “Wasted Effort”, “His Majesty”, “Givers never lack” and so many others.
The Owerri-born actor was involved in a murder case in 2021 when he was allegedly arrested for killing his wife in Abuja.
Oganiru has since maintained his innocence, even though reports claimed he poisoned his wife.
