The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos Command, has denied rumours that the viral video showing a drowning boy is that of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.
This is coming after netizens reacted to a viral video of a small boy drowning in a pool.
In reaction to this, the force’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, while speaking with BBC, stated that the video is fake and not related to the deceased.
He said the police are yet to look into the CCTV recordings so it couldn’t have leaked.
Hundeyin said, “We haven’t started looking at the content of the CCTV we collected from Davido’s house. Any video you see online isn’t the real thing. It’s fake.”
