Morocco suffered a slim 2-1 defeat against Croatia in the World Cup third place play-off on Saturday.
Josko Gvardiol put Croatia in front just seven minutes into the game at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Achraf Dari responded almost immediately for Morocco with a brilliant equalizer.
However, Mislav Orsic scored the winner for the Europeans just before halftime.
Croatia, 2018 World Cup runners-up came into the game after losing 3-0 to Argentina in the semifinal. Morocco on the other hand, Lost 2-0 to France in their historic semifinal.
Argentina and France will clash in Sunday’s finals to mark the end of the World Cup in Qatar.
