Former beauty queen and actress, Stella Charles, has stated reasons she can not accept explicit content roles.
The actress while speaking in a recent interview said she is different and she is not trying to pass her message through sex hence her decision to turn down sex roles.
“I will definitely turn down a sex role for any amount of money. There’s so much going on in the world, sex is not my message to the world. I am different. It is so clear!”
The Anambra born actress also added a revelation of her own.
She added how she suffered domestic violence from a man once and how she made sure nothing of such ever happens again.
According to her, a script reading had brought back memories of the terrible incident and she had cried bitterly on set.
She said, “I have been victim of domestic violence in the past, so when I got script for the movie Prey- Dator, I literally kept crying!
“At some point, I felt I was reading my story but in a more twisted way. I gave my all in this story and I want the world both men and women to watch and learn truly from this.”
