Nollywood actress, Shaffy Bello, has revealed why she ended her marriage with her husband, Mr Akinrimisi, after 25 years of marriage.
She stated that she had wanted more as a woman but she wasn’t getting it so she opted for divorce.
Shaffy added that there was the issue of long distance between them as her ex-husband is in the United States of America.
She went further to state that he was a good father to their children. She had revealed this in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
The actress said, “He was a good father to his children. But I got to a place where I wanted more. And I would always travel back and forth. But I knew at a point that if I really want this, it came with a sacrifice.
“It wasn’t a sacrifice of marriage, but then he being there and the distance didn’t help.”
She has two children with her ex, Ashley Akinrisimi and Ashton Akinrisimi.
