Afrobeat singer and producer, Gabriel Amanyi, professionally known as Terry G, has revealed reasons behind his hiatus in the music industry.
Terry G, in a recent interview, said he was made to stay away from music for a while.
The street pop singer said he had a court case that lasted for a while and that restricted his involvement in the industry.
He said he also took time to focus on his family and other businesses. He added that he will be putting an end to the hiatus with more showcase if contents.
The Ginja ur swagga crooner said, “I am still the king of the streets, even if I have not released any content in a while. It is deliberate.
“I had a court case which was going on underground. I could not release any content because of that. I had to use that time to focus on my family and business.
“I had the urge to release songs but I could not because of the contract I had. Presently, I am working on releasing more content.”
The eccentric singer said his single ‘Free Madness’ wasn’t supposed to happen because he was testing the microphone but the song became viral.
He is best known for songs like Free Madness, Jump am pass, Run Mad and so many.
